How do I change the function of “enter”?

Hey guys, So I recently upgraded from Quickbooks Pro 2013 to 2016 and noticed that I can no longer press enter to save a transaction. For example, while receiving payments, I used to be able "tab" between boxes then press "enter" to save and go to a new payment. Now "enter" serves the same function […]

What is your top choice for accounting software?

I am running my online business as a sole prop so I have business charges co-mingled with personal ones. I just want a […]

Workplace Combining Accrual and Cash-Basis Methods?

More questions! The business I currently work for has a system for bookkeeping that I think is odd: we enter bills into accounts payable as soon as they come in, even if we won’t pay them for 30-60 days. Our operating account in Quickbooks is credited immediately. (accrual basis). However, when we send bills out […]

Building a website using Quickbooks data

Has anyone ever built a website leveraging Intuit's Quickbooks data? I'm having trouble finding information on the level of accessibility of the data and how I would go about doing that. I see that Quickbooks Online has a limited SOAP/REST implementation but it doesn't seem to speak to the desktop versions. Also, I'm looking for […]

Dilemma: I have created my own ERP. Should I sell it as a standalone product or SaaS platform? (x-post from /r/Entrepreneur)

Over the last 3 years I've created my own in-house ERP. While initially designed for in-house usage only, it has been tested in the last 2 years and now is a working and tested product. Couple months ago I've posted on reddit asking for feedback, whether going commercial would be a good idea. For features […]

So here's my problem: We had a bad bookkeeper. The books themselves were generally fine, but he was hard to work with, expensive and gave bad advice. So I got rid of him. Bow now It's been two months without having done anything with the books and I'm lost. There's all this stuff already in […]

Questions about local transfer speeds and switch configurations.

Hey everyone, So I'm helping my girlfriend's parents with their office networking. I'm not an expert but I offered to help because they really can't afford to hire a network admin, I am the best they have. I noticed on Tuesday their transfer speeds were not full Gigabit, they were closer to 100 Megabit (~8ish […]
